Booking

The most efficient way to book is to use my enquiry form so I can quickly get the information I need to offer you an appointment. After we've discussed your tattoo by email, I'll usually offer a range of dates. Or, give me a range of dates and I'll let you know if any are available. Saturdays book up the fastest. I usually start appointments at around 11am, but I can also be available in the evening.

Confirmation

After we've agreed on a date, your appointment isn't confirmed until I receive a deposit and the slot may be offered to someone else (I'll usually give you a nudge first, though).  I won't start work on any design until a deposit is received.

Design

If you've asked for a custom design, I'll usually begin work on it a few days before your appointment (unless we're doing a freehand design that I draw or paint directly on to the skin). You can send me reference images, thoughts and ideas by email at any point beforehand, and I can look back at them once I've started the work. I might ask a few questions in advance, or send you some sketches. If it's a large or complex project I'll try to get a draft design to you well in advance, to give us time to work together and make sure everything is perfect before starting to tattoo.

Sometimes, as I have various health and disability issues, I just won't have been able to work on your design until the day before or the morning of the appointment - in these cases, if you need more time or aren't happy with the design (and there won't be time for me to change it), you are welcome to rearrange and I will roll over the deposit.

The way I work with designs may change in the future, but for now I do have the flexibility and time to be able to send designs in advance.

Payment

You'll usually pay the remaining sum, minus any deposit you've left, at the end of your appointment. I usually ask for a bank transfer, but cash is great too, as well as PayPal. Generally you can use the same method you used to pay the deposit.
I do have a card machine on request, but may need to add a percentage to cover transaction fees.
